DELIVERY AND VAT INFORMATION
UK DELIVERY
We always aim to offer the best possible delivery price. To achieve this, we use a range of courier services and calculate delivery costs based on your location, as well as the size and weight of your order.
To view exact delivery options and costs, please add your items to the basket and enter your delivery address at checkout.
Additional surcharges may apply for deliveries to the Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, and Ireland, depending on parcel size and weight. These are calculated at checkout and may vary for oversized (volumetric) items or where additional packaging is required.
For larger or bulky items, extra charges may apply – if a delivery quote appears high, you may wish to remove larger items from your basket to review alternative options.
Free UK Delivery over £150
We offer free UK delivery on orders over £150 using the most suitable service for your order:
- Royal Mail Standard (3–7 working days) for parcels up to 2kg
- Parcelforce Tracked (2–4 working days) for non-hazardous parcels up to 30kg
- FedEx Standard Priority (2–4 working days) for hazardous parcels up to 30kg
We may also reduce the cost of some of our ‘Next Day’ services with this promotion – you will see these reductions in the basket.
The delivery service will be selected automatically based on the size, weight, and contents of your order.
Please note: This offer applies to standard UK delivery only and does not apply to international or non-standard shipping options (i.e oversized or bulky orders, or deliveries to the Highlands & Islands).
UK Mainland Standard Courier Delivery: 2–4 working days
This timeframe reflects typical courier estimates for mainland UK. Delivery times are approximate and can occasionally vary due to logistics, traffic, or seasonal demand.
IN A HURRY?
We offer two Next Day Delivery services within mainland UK. Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on your basket.
Order by 2pm (Monday–Friday) for same-day dispatch. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched the next working day. Orders placed after 2pm on Friday or over the weekend will be processed on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.
Please note, we do not dispatch or deliver on public holidays.
Our standard next-day service is delivered via FedEx. This is a fast and reliable service, but next-day delivery is not guaranteed. While most parcels arrive the next working day, delays can occur and are not eligible for a delivery refund.
For complete peace of mind, choose our guaranteed next-day delivery with DPD at checkout. If your parcel arrives late, you will receive a refund on the delivery charge.
Please note that our free delivery over £150 offer does not apply to Next Day Delivery services. However, this promotion may reduce the cost of these services at checkout.
UK NON-STANDARD DELIVERY
Highlands & Islands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man: 2–7 working days (additional surcharges may apply)
Delivery is based on standard UK delivery (2–5 working days), with extra time added depending on the region:
- +1 working day: Aberdeenshire, Dundee & Angus, Fife, Inverness & surrounding Highlands, Isle of Arran, Isles of Scilly
- +2 working days: Western Isles, northern Argyll & Highlands, Orkney & parts of Argyll
- +3 working days: Remote Orkney & Shetland areas
Northern Ireland & Channel Islands: 2–5 working days
(Covers all BT postcodes and Channel Island addresses)
These delivery times are estimates based on typical courier performance (Royal Mail, DPD, FedEx) and may vary slightly depending on weather, traffic, or seasonal demand. Remote areas may take longer due to logistics, which is why we add extra working days per region.
If your order requires special shipping arrangements, we will contact you to discuss the best available options.
All delivery timeframes are based on working days (Monday–Friday) and exclude bank holidays.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & TAXES
The best way to get an accurate shipping estimate is to add your desired items and delivery address to your basket. Shipping costs depend on the weight and size of your order.
Oversized orders or those requiring extra packaging may incur additional charges.
Flammable or hazardous liquids, any liquid above 250ml, or aerosols cannot be sent by air mail. Some items may also be restricted overseas due to length, volume, or weight (max 1 metre for Rest of World).

VAT Information (EU)
- Orders under €150: VAT included via IOSS; no additional customs fees. Customers should not pay extra VAT. Contact info@handover.co.uk if you are charged incorrectly.
- Orders over €150: VAT and possible duties charged by customs in your country; Handover does not collect these. Customers may pay additional charges.
- VAT-registered EU businesses: We optionally collect EU VAT numbers during checkout to correctly apply VAT exemptions for business-to-business sales. Please provide your VAT number if your business is registered in the EU.
- Non-IOSS EU Orders: Customers are responsible for any import duties or taxes. Any shipments refused at entry will have the full shipping cost deducted from any refund.

Note: Due to recent US import tax changes (from 29 August 2025), all US orders are temporarily paused while we review shipping options. Please contact us if you have specific requirements.
Delivery times are estimates and depend on courier and destination. Some services may not be trackable. If tracking is required, please select a tracked service at checkout.
Norway (VOEC)
Orders shipped to Norway are subject to 25% VAT, collected at checkout.
- Individual Norwegian customers are required to provide a PID (Personal Identification Number) during checkout. This is necessary for Norwegian customs to process your order smoothly and ensures that no additional VAT payment is required upon delivery.
TRACKING
- All tracked orders will receive a tracking number via email on despatch.
- International postal orders are handled by UK postal services until arrival in the destination country, then by local postal services.
PO BOX Deliveries
We cannot accept liability for lost or damaged orders delivered to PO Boxes.
